Local Install and Operate RTX AI Software Pack (Workstation Mode)

Leadtek RTX AI Software Pack is a toolkit that integrates all the analysis components used for AI projects. It has pre-installed a complete development environment, including operating system, GPU drivers, CUDA toolkit, deep learning libraries, and various deep learning and machine learning frameworks. All kinds of AI research projects and big data development tasks can be started immediately after system booting. GPU workstations and servers are optimized for hardware and software, eliminating the cumbersome installation process.


This article will shows you how to install and operate RTA AI Software Pack through your workstation locally. 


1. Login


Click the ubuntu account to login the system.


Enter the password and click [Sign In]. The default password is “ubuntu”.



2. Install WinFast RTX AI System Utility

After you log in to the system, double-click the RTX Utility icon on desktop to install the Utility.


Press A to accept the End User License Agreement.


There are three user modes to choose from: Select RTX Node

Master Node: Set this system as the manager of the GDMS. The master can manage all GPUs and allocate resources in the GDMS.

GPU Node: Select this option to allow the GPUs and resources in this system to be managed by the GDMS. This system has to be connected to the GDMS to use RTX software framework.

RTX Node: For standalone system usage, select this option.




3. Select RTX Node

Select RTX Node and the system will install the RTX AI software. After the installation is completed, the system will reboot.

Note: Be sure to double-click the RTX Utility icon on desktop to launch the utility. If not, the system will not work correctly.


An important message will show up. If you don’t want to see this message every time you launch the utility, type Y. Otherwise, type N.



4. Congratulation ! Your installatios in completed.
